SOHO Motorsports Nissan 370Z Sets 1/4 Mile World Record!

We've made some changes to the car over the years and now hold the new record 9.43 @ 153 mph 3/15/21.

Last October we traveled to Chicago to purchase our 2014 Nissan 370Z nismo, since that day, we said that we would build this car to be able to break the stock block quarter mile record.  The stock block quarter mile record was set at 10.91 and has been standing since september 2015 by fast intentions in a customer's automatic twin turbo nissan 370Z.  In January, we ordered our Fast intentions twin turbo kit and waited patiently for around 10 weeks for it to arrive, once it arrive we wasted no time starting the build as we had a half mile event in may and the following weekend was Zdayz. Fast forward six months to October 2016 and we were ready to attempt to break the 1/4 world record at Darlington Dragway.  Our second visit to darlington was a promising one as we were able to break into the 10s, 10.996 to be exact, making it the quickest manual transmission nissan 370z in the world. We were very excited to have reached this milestone with this vehicle, but our ultimate goal of breaking the overall 1/4 mile world record time was not reached.  We made a few changes to the vehicle and headed back to Darlington two more times and on the second time, October 22,2016, we broke it!
