SOHO Wins Best Exhaust at 2013 ZDayz!
ZDayz is an annual event held by the Z community for the Z community in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. The annual event is three days of fun with friends who might as well be family in the Fontana Village community at the base of the famed Tail of The Dragon road with over 318 curves in 11 miles. With beautiful scenery, good people, amazing cars and even better roads this weekend is easily one of the most anticipated on any enthusiasts calendar, and we are no exception here at SOHO. Along with the relaxing weekend comes a few events including the car show and exhaust competition held on Saturday. This year SOHO Motorsports was a sponsor of ZDayz so we had a bunch of our cars there from shop cars in our booth to customer cars as well.
Among them was Steve Ruyan's naturally aspirated 350Z fresh from our previous race weekend at Road Atlanta for Global Time Attack. On his way through from Florida to Tennessee he stopped by the shop and we installed our brand new SOHO Motorsports Single exhaust system including test pipes, y-pipes and full single exhaust. Not only did we intend to use his car as a showcase of the exhaust system for its debut weekend but also be a representation of the quality and sound on a naturally aspirated platform and enter the 2013 Best Exhaust Competition. With an event filled with every make and model of Nissan or Infiniti from old rusted exhausts to brand new full titanium GTR exhausts, our SOHO Motorsports Stainless Steel Exhaust System for G's and Z's ended up winning the entire competition outright with Steve's 350Z!
