A notorious weak link when power is being made on the VQ in the transmission is the input shaft.
These input shafts will break since this is one of the first places that power is transferred from the engine to the rear wheels via the transmission.
We have spent countless hours with NismoBAE (our drag Nissan 370z) and have developed a fix for this common issue.
You can now send in your input shaft to be upgraded to this billet option and not have to worry about it breaking ever again!
**The bearing and gear will be reused and machined/welded to the billet input. We have run this gear up to 1200+whp with no issues to date. Even if your input shaft snapped, it may still be a usable core**
