New SOHO Motorsports Three Inch Dual Exit Exhaust System
With much success from our exhaust systems and a need for a true three inch dual exhaust system for all of the G35 / 350Z owners looking for big horsepower from their twin turbo or supercharger systems, we decided to engineer a dual exit exhaust. Made from 16 gauge 304 Stainless Steel material and a purge welding technique, we have designed a system that will be able to handle the stress from high horsepower motors with an aggressive tone and reduce overall exhaust weight by more than 50 percent from the stock exhaust system.
Our dual exhaust system allows the end user to incorporate their current test pipes or the SOHO Motorsports test pipes with the use of a 2.5" flange welded to a 2.5" to 3.0" exducer, which can be seen in the picture above. An X-Pipe was developed to aid with the scavenging of the exhaust gases and to eliminate any rasp, which can be seen in the pictures below.
The remainder of the exhaust has been designed with the least restrictive path for the exhaust gases to go with plenty of room to clear the rear sway bar and utilize the stock location exhaust hangers which can be seen in the pictures below.
The mufflers that are offered with the dual exhaust system have a slip joint and uses the stock exhaust hanger locations with 4.0" angle cut exhaust tips.
